Living Through the Arts® is an inspirational program sparking the creative imagination in adults, youth, and children, and igniting unique artistic expression. An innovation of the Learning Through the Arts® program of The Royal Conservatory, Living Through the Arts nurtures creativity, builds self-knowledge and self-esteem, fosters mutual respect, and encourages the expression and celebration of creativity and identity — both individually and socially.

Living Through the Arts mission: To develop human potential by empowering individuals and communities through artistic self-expression and creativity.

We partner with social service organizations to meet the needs of clients from different demographic groups to provide arts-based workshop sessions and artist professional development and support. We aim to promote the arts for healthy living by recognizing that the arts provide us with the opportunity to communicate more effectively through various art forms, thereby promoting a sense of personal capacity and meaning as well as working together in creative problem solving.
