Scholarships are vital to our students’ ability to begin or continue their studies at The Royal Conservatory. You can make a difference in the life of a student enrolled in one of our music education or training programs by establishing a new scholarship or contributing to an existing fund.

Establish a Scholarship

New scholarships can be established permanently by creating an endowment fund, supported annually or over a set period of time. Scholarships can be set up in your name or in the name of a loved one.

You may also choose to support The Royal Conservatory’s scholarship program by contributing to funds that will support students in need at either The Glenn Gould School, The Royal Conservatory School or other programs at The Conservatory. Ask for your donation to go to one of these areas if you are interested in contributing to our existing funds:

  • The General Scholarship or General Bursary Funds
  • The Glenn Gould School Scholarships and Bursary Fund
  • The Royal Conservatory School’s Scholarships and Bursary Fund

The Glenn Gould School’s Dean's Scholarship Program

In celebration of The Royal Conservatory’s 125th anniversary in 2011, we are proud to announce a special scholarship program in support of students training at The Glenn Gould School – the 125 Scholarship Program. This ambitious initiative seeks to provide each of the School’s 125 gifted music students with full tuition for four years – the entire length of a training program at The Glenn Gould School – by awarding 125 full scholarships in the amount of $25,000 each year for four years, to a total gift of $100,000.

You can help make the future attainable for one of the great legends of tomorrow by giving the gift of a 125 Scholarship. Your investment will help remove financial barriers to success and ensure Canada’s most gifted young musicians are able to develop their talent at home.

To learn more about how you can help shape the future of Canada’s musical community by establishing a 125 Scholarship, please contact Tracey Brown, Senior Director, Major Gifts, at 416.408.2824 x342 or tracey.brown@rcmusic.ca
